Agate Pass Bridge Work…Expect delays

 ~Update from WSDOT~  Drivers can expect delays on SR 305 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18. Utility crews will require one-way alternating traffic at several locations between Suquamish Way and NE Totten Road for removal of trees in communication lines. This is in addition to work planned for the SR 305 Agate Pass Bridge from Tuesday, Feb 19-Friday, March 1.

Reminder: Delays Expected when Agate Pass Bridge Work Begins Next Week

WSDOT crews will begin daytime work on the Agate Pass Bridge Tuesday, Feb. 19 and drivers should expect delays of 30 minutes or longer.
During the work, which is expected to last through Friday, March 1, the SR 305 Agate Pass Bridge will be reduced to one alternating lane of traffic at the following times:
  • 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays
  • 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23-24 (Chilly Hilly is Sunday, Feb. 24)
During those times, WSDOT crews will be doing an in-depth bridge inspection. This regular checkup helps identify potential maintenance needs early.

Expect Delays In February!

bridgeThe Agate Pass Bridge has scheduled its annual cleaning in February.

The work will begin Feb. 12 and run through Feb. 15 from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. Beginning Feb. 20, crews will work for 11 consecutive days until       March 2.  During those days, work will take place from 8:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. on weekdays and from 7:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 24-25

Possible Delays This Week!

Image result for images of agate pass bridgeExpect delays on the Agate Pass Bridge  this week during cleaning and inspection.  The work will require daytime single-lane closures across the bridge 8:45 am to 2:30 pm Monday through Thursday, Feb. 13-16, and again on Tuesday through Friday, Feb. 21-24.  Drivers are encouraged to plan ahead, especially if drivers are using the Bainbridge Island Ferry.  Ferry riders are also encouraged to consider using the Bremerton or Kingston ferries during these times.
