19th Annual Celluloid Bainbridge Film Festival

The 19th Celluloid Bainbridge Film Festival is November 4th & 5th!

Presented by Arts & Humanities Bainbridge, this annual two-day event showcases films and filmmakers from Bainbridge Island and the greater Pacific Northwest. Films are screened at the historic Lynwood Theatre. This year, Celluloid Bainbridge will once again offer festivalgoers a smorgasbord of quality films both homegrown and from across our great region. Click to see the festival lineup and a schedule of screenings and events.

The weekend kicks off Saturday at 5pm with an Opening Night Reception at The Manor House. Mix with visiting filmmakers and industry professionals while enjoying fine food and drink! After the reception, Celluloid heads across the street for the 7pm screening of the festival’s featured films: “The United Guys Network,” from Vancouver, BC director Tabatha Golat; “The Story of Bainbridge,” a 1960s-era documentary tour of Bainbridge Island produced by the Rotary Club of Bainbridge Island; and “Another Man’s Treasure,” directed by the island’s own Steve Stolee. Saturday’s festivities are followed by a full day of screenings from 9am to 9pm on Sunday.

VIP Tickets include admission to the Opening Night Reception and all film screenings and are $50; tickets to Saturday and Sunday screenings are $15; tickets to Sunday screenings are $10; and student admission is $8. Out of the Darkness Community Walk
Saturday, September 23, 2017

Losing someone to suicide or struggling with a mental illness can feel like no one understands what you are going through.  Unlike other illnesses, it is difficult to look at someone and know their connection.

The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance and a walk that unites a community – a time to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental illness have affected our lives and our loved ones. We all wear honor beads – each color shows our personal connection to the cause, and helps us identify others who understand our experience
