Come walk along the Bainbridge Gardens Nature Trail, glowing with a festive display of 300 lighted, carved pumpkins.  Nightly features include a harvest maze, photos with the Great Pumpkin, carnival games, and live music.  This family-oriented event is a fundraiser for the Bainbridge Island Boys and Girls Club.  Admission is free.  There is a suggested cash donation for most attractions.  This is an outdoor event; dress for the weather. kitsap humane societyIt has been a busy, challenging week at Kitsap Humane Society, and we need YOUR help! Our shelter has taken in 36 dogs since just Monday, including two large groups of dogs through Animal Control. These three senior Pomeranians are just a few of the dogs rescued by our Animal Control Officers and now looking for homes.

 

Our kennels are FULL to capacity with over 60 dogs, and we need adopters to help open up much needed kennel space and reduce the immense load on our staff and volunteers. We have dogs of ALL sizes, ALL ages, and ALL personalities that are in need of homes right NOW!

Fri., May 4 through Sun., May 6 all adult dog adoption fees are ½ off*!

 

Adoption Hours:
