Important Public Meeting Tonight 2/28/19 at City Hall


The  Planning Commission will hold a public hearing Thursday, Feb. 28 on proposed changes to subdivision regulations.  Specifically, the Planning Commission is seeking feedback on Ordinance 2019-03.

The subdivision update is part of the development moratorium work plan that began early last year.  The overall purpose of the proposed revisions is to craft a subdivision ordinance that directs the planning and design of future residential developments in a manner that respects the natural resources of the land and preserves the character and function of the landscape.

The public hearing is part of the regular Feb. 28 Planning Commission meeting that begins at 7 p.m. in the Council Chamber.

If you have any questions or comments about the proposed regulations, please send an email to by 4 p.m. Feb. 28.  All comments will be provided to the Planning Commission for review and consideration in its recommendation to City Council on Ordinance 2019-03.  Learn more  here .
