Family Fun homemade holiday keepsakes!

homemade holiday ornaments

Hanging ornaments on the tree is one of the most magical parts of Christmas, and if you want the experience to be even more special, making your own homemade ornaments is a wonderful way to create keepsakes you can cherish for years to come.

Fortune Walnuts
In European tradition, walnuts are painted gold and filled with a special fortune. The trick is to wait until the first day of the New Year to open if you want your fortune to come true.

Apple-Cinnamon Ornaments
This two-ingredient dough will stay smelling as delicious as the day you made it for years and can be cut into any fun shape you desire.

Santa’s Helpers
These adorable miniature elves are a must-have on any tree, and with a little help, make for a fun holiday craft project for kids, too!

Ugly Sweater
If you have an ugly Christmas sweater hanging around, put it to good use with this simple ornament trick.
